Customer Support Engineer (Mechanical)

Due to continued success our Huddersfield based clients who are specialists in the design, manufacturing, supply and servicing of bespoke industrial equipment, are looking for a Customer Support Engineer to join their team.

  • To provide quick and efficient support for customer queries.
  • To ensure all queries are dealt with by the correct department in a timely manner.
  • Working with all relevant departments to investigate customer claims and working to reduce claims using the in-house quality system
  • Being able to communicate efficiently with customers and all departments

Requirements

  • CAD experience
  • Customer service experience required
  • Engineering background (Mechanical preferred)
  • A friendly, professional telephone/email manner
  • Data entry (excel and in house CRM system)
  • Hardworking
  • Good at working under pressure
  • Willing to learn
  • Teamwork skills
  • Time management
  • BEng/HND/HNC/ONC in engineering
