Job Description
Preparing both 3D and 2D CAD designs for manufacture using the latest laser cutting and CNC bending software (BySoft CAM).
Preparing cut parts nests, fold plans and supporting documentation for shopfloor personnel.
Manage sheet metal stock levels and supply.
Occasionally operation of both CNC laser cutting and CNC bending machinery.
Support the development of standard operating procedures related to both cutting and bending procedures.

The Successful Applicant
• A basic understanding of sheet metal fabrication methods (laser cutting / plasma cutting / CNC machinery)
• Understanding of the supply chain and MRP systems a bonus
• Basic IT skills (Microsoft Excel, Word)
• • Demonstrated ability to work independently
• Numeracy skills required
• Good communication skills
• Willing to learn and be part of the team
• Eye for detail
